Remote Vibrating Thong Review

Recently, I've had the pleasure of playing with Babeland's newest addition, the remote vibrating thong. I when I said "playing", that's exactly what I meant. I had a lot of fun seeing how far away I could be from it and still set it off. It came before the hubby got home, so I had plenty of time to see what it was made of. Lots of me scurrying in and out of my bedroom to see if it was buzzing or not. ^_^

Across the room? Check!
Outside with the door shut? Check!
All the way at the end of the next room? Check!

Granted my apartment is rather small, but I'm still impressed with how easily it can be set off no matter where I'm at. There's a slight delay, maybe 2 or 3 seconds, when turning it on or off. I don't really think that it's that big of a deal, though. And it's only 1 speed.

As for noise, it's not whisper-quiet. I can hear it, but then again I can hear a pin drop across the room. My ears have always been pretty sensitive. I'd probably be a little iffy on wearing it in public where there's not much noise. Of course, you could just pretend someone is calling you and you had your phone set to vibrate if anyone hears it. That's pretty much how loud it is. Just don't wear it to really quiet places. In other words, don't wear it to a library or something. :p Otherwise, a restaurant where there is some chatter or a nightclub full of music would be a good place to use it.

So, how does the thong fit....well, my tush is too small. lol Seriously, I usually wear a size 4 or 5 in panties. Oh well, I'm not much on lace anyway. They do stretch and fit most people, though. Really, what's important is the remote vibe. You can slip that into any panties you want. Which also means if the thong is dirty, you don't have to wait for it to come out of the wash to use the vibe. Just stick in it another pair of panties. Not many of my panties have that little open slit in the crotch, but I managed to find one of mine that did. There's a slight bulge when the vibe is in the panties, but it's not that noticeable. I just tend to pick over everything. And as for cleaning the vibe, I just wipe it down with rubbing alcohol.

The nice thing is that the remote vibrating thong comes with batteries. Glad it did, too. We've have lots of batteries at home, but not the little stubby one that the remote vibe took. It also comes with a pretty little purple drawstring bag to keep everything together. Definitely something I needed since I tend to lose things. Plus, it makes for a nice little tote if you want to take it on vacation or something. Just slip it all in the bag and pitch that into your suitcase. No need to worry about anything shifting around and losing it amongst the rest of your clothes.

Packaging: No problems. It's from the Berman Center Intimate Accessories Collection, so it comes in a purple box with a little stylized figure on it.

Vibration Level:Probably about a 3/5. I'd say it's about a medium speed.

Noise Level: A gentle hum. Like I said, I can hear it, but I've trained my ears to hear everything. Really, it's fairly quiet and suitable for clubbing or a night out.

Pros: Really good distance. I can activate it with the door closed or even on the opposite side of my apartment. No phthalates. Easily cleaned. Comes with a nice little bag to keep things organized. Interchangeable with other panties.

Cons: One speed. Slight delay in activation/deactivation.

Summary: Overall, I supposed I'd give the remote vibrating thong a 3.5/5 rating. I mean, it does have a slight delay and only one setting. Plus, it's a bit noisey. But it's distance is really good and you can put the vibe in any undies you like. Which got me thinking...well, more like plotting...how could I rig it up in my hubby's pants so that he wouldn't know.... Well, I still have figured that one out yet.
