Ok, I’m really ticked. When I saw the free sample of Astroglide Natural, I thought, “Finally a paraben-free lube from Astroglide! I gotta sign up for a free sample!”. Boy, was I ever wrong… –_-
Here’s what the package says:
Astroglide Natural combines all natural plant extracts to create that same long-lasting, never sticky, Second Only to Nature® feeling that you’ve come to expect from Astroglide products. But not parabens!
Naturally Free From:
- glycerin
- flavoring
- fragrance
- alcohol
- hormones
Astroglide Natural full ingredient list:
purified water, xylitol (which is a sugar alternative that’s good for your teeth O.o weird thing to put in a lube…) aloe barbadensis leaf juice (Which has gooey juice similar to my own natural juices. I have an aloe and cutting it always proves to be messy.), potassium ascorbyl tocopheryl phosphate, pectin (used to make jellies ^_^ mmm), chamomilla recutita (matricarcia) flower extract, hydroxyethylcellulose, METHYLPARABEN
Products described as “natural” should not contain parabens! I can’t use this stuff! Aside from parabens being linked to things such as breast cancer, my body reacts very badly to parabens. Really nasty tummy problems.
I’ve emailed them and am waiting for a response.
