As a girl on a limited budget and a high libido, affiliate programs have really been a great find. Not only can I make money reviewing stuff, but I can have fun doing it. This has been a great way for me and my hubby to make our sex lives more fun and to get my views on things heard.
I started reviewing sex toys to make a difference in the world. The first time I went shopping for sex toys, I had no idea what phthalates were or which toys were safe for my body. I also had a hard time figuring out if the toy I wanted had some raunchy packaging. I was wishing I had someone to help me with my toy shopping. Well, I stopped wishing and started researching. I’ve researched products, materials, companies, all kinds of stuff in preparation for my own blog. I’ve learned a lot from all of this. I even know what my web developer hubby is talking about now since I’ve learned some coding for my blog.
If you’d like to get some free sex toys like vibrators, dildos, dongs, butt plugs, lubes, pretty much anything you can dream up, then sign up with some affiliate programs! These are some of the companies that I know, trust, and love.
Beware, though, reviewing can be addicting and space-consuming. Almost everywhere in my apartment is a hiding space for a toy(s). The sex toy reviewing community is great about overflow, though. Sometimes reviewers will, if toys the are able to be fully sanitized, sanitize toys that they no longer want and swap/trade toys with other reviewers. Of course, it’s not just toys. Books, DVDs, lingerie, body products, makeup, you name it…
Babeland has a great affiliate program. The product review list is updated regularly and you can review 3 products per month. Plus, the affiliate newsletters sometimes even have extra little contests and things just for affiliates!
EdenFantasys has an interesting program. You start out at a certain price range and work your way up. You can pick from any product on the website as long as it’s in your price range. Then you request an assignment and wait to see if you’re approved. The more reviews you do, the higher your score will go and the higher you can go when looking at prices when asking for free stuff for assignments. They've also just put in a points rewards system so you can earn points reviewing, chatting in the forums, etc and cash the points in for gift cards.
Also check out the Good Vibes Ambassador program. Sign up for the affiliate program first so you can collect commissions and then sign up for their Ambassador program. You can review two products per month from a set list of products that refreshes each month.
I was asked to join MyPleasure in Nov 2010. Garnet is very nice to work with and always makes sure to let me know the ingredient lists of certain products. I can be a bit picky with product ingredients sometimes. I just want to make sure what I’m getting is safe. When you sign up, you’ll get a list each month of the products up for review. After your first product review, you can start doing 2 per month. Also, if you have their banner and a text link at the top of your page, you can be bumped up to the 20% commission level.

I just joined Crystal Delights’ affiliate program today (1/16/2012)! Instead of the usual 20% commission, they’re offering 25%! I’m not sure about reviewing toys for free – I’ve worked with them before, so I’ve been offered another goody to review – but this would be a really good source of income, compared to the others. They sell absolutely gorgeous glass toys with genuine Swarovski crystals in them. The only thing you’ll need is a Paypal account to receive payment, which is sent out when your earnings equal $50 or more for that period.
