I don’t know how many toys I’ve gone through just to find a double penetration cockring that doesn’t have harmful phthalates in the material. Well, I finally found one that is TPR and phthalates-free, the Double Diver Cockring. I’ve only tried one other double penetration cockring. It was the Ultimate Triple Stimulator (review here). Sadly, I was a bit naive when I bought it, and found out later that it had phthalates. It was sent to be recycled. It wasn’t stretchy (actually had to carve out the cockring to make it fit) and it smelled funny. I’m so glad I got the Double Diver. I missed the double the penetration.

Because the Double Diver is made of TPR, the cockring is very stretchy. (Remember, if it doesn’t stretch, it’s not TPR. Contact Cal Exotics for a replacement.) I’d say the diameter of my hubby is about 2.5” and it fit him just fine with the help of a little lube.

It may be strange, but I have to say that I think the cockring is kinda cute. Why is that? Well, it has a little heart embossed on the hollow where the 3-speed bullet vibe goes. I hope you can see it. It was a bit difficult to get a good picture of it.

Aside from the cute little heart, there are also small bumps along the topside of the dildo shaft. I can’t say that they add much to the experience. They’re interesting from an aesthetic point of view, but I don’t really notice them when the dildo slides into me. Hope you can see them. Look real close at the picture and you should be able to see the strange little face at the head. I’m an artist. I notice all the little things like that.

Experience: Like I said earlier, my first experience with a double penetration cockring was with the Ultimate Triple Stimulator, which was actually inches longer than the Double Diver. That’s good because it’s never felt that the Double Diver goes to far up my backside. On the other hand, we’ve had a bit of trouble keeping it in when in certain positions.

I’d say the best position for us with the Double Diver is for me to lay on my stomach with my husband laying on top of me. We turn the Double Diver around so the vibe is at his balls and the dildo is above his cock and curve it up slightly. That way, his body is pressing it against me, giving me a better feeling of double penetration and keeping it from popping out.

Using Anal Toys: Before inserting an anal toy, make sure to give yourself time to relax and stretch out. Don’t just try to cram it in there. You’re likely to end up sore and bleeding if you do that. And use plenty of lube! Keep it covered with a condom. TPR is porous and can harbor bacteria. And never use it in your vagina if it has ever gone into your anus without a condom!

Vibe Level: 3-speed vibe, The highest speed may be too intense for some, but the hubby and I love it.

Noise Level: It’s pretty quite. I mean, you can still hear it a little under the covers on the highest speed, but it’s very quite compared to my other vibes.

Cons: Cal Exotics made the mistake of sending out PVC Double Divers to sellers and didn’t notice until I caught them (Remember, if you suspect yours is PVC, contact Cal Exotics for a replacement). Sometimes it slips out because it’s a little short. Trashy packaging.

Packaging: Too raunchy for my taste. I hate when my toy packaging has bimbos flaunting their cleavage. Cal Exotics, please clean up your packaging on this product.

Summary: 4/5 Every product that has a raunchy package gets a point taken off in an effort to get manufacturers to change their advertisement methods. Sex toy shopping should be fun and not demeaning or raunchy.

Otherwise, I really have no problem with the Double Diver. It’s a great toy and I’m glad to finally have a double penetration cockring that is safe for both my hubby’s and my own body. ^-^
