When I first saw the Babeland Nubby G I was very intrigued. First of all, it's very different from any other vibe I've seen. Second. I was wondering how in the world I'd use it. I've never had a g-spot toy before, so this was all new territory for me.
For some reason, the first thing I did when I got it out of the package was to squish it. I know, it sounds weird. I guess I just wanted to see how soft it was since this was the first purely TPR based toy I've gotten. It's actually pretty soft and flexible. In my opinion, the material carries the vibrations well. Vibrations are generated through an easy to control dial at the base. The base is ribbed so it's easy to control when things get a little slippery. ^_~
The Nubby G features a curved tip to stroke your g-spot and two rows of little nubs that give a buzz to your anus and clitoris when the toy is rocked back and forth. Maybe I'm just not shaped right, but I had a hard time getting the front nubs to reach my clit. Since I'm new with g-spot vibes, I don't really think I've got the hang of this one yet. I've been able to get off on it, don't get me wrong. But I haven't been able to achieve a g-spot O. I do like this toy, though. I can feel it hit my g-spot, I just haven't been able to O from it. Plus, it's an interesting feeling just to twist it around inside of you besides rocking it back and forth. To get things going, all you need is two AA batteries. A lot of toys I've seen take AAs or AAAs, so do yourself a favor and get the rechargeable kind. It's much cheaper that way.
Packaging: Yes, I actually have a picture of the packaging this time. ^_^ Very tasteful and minimal amount of packaging which means less in the trash. Be sure to recycle what you can! Luckily, my recycling center takes any kind of plastic and paper. Be sure to look at the number in the little triangle of arrows. Some centers will only take certain numbers. As always, Babeland has included a coupon along with cleaning info, tips, and such.Pros:Easy to clean TPR(Just wash with antibacterial soap and warm water), carries vibrations well,
Cons:You can't completely sanitize TPR (no boiling it like silicone!), the front nubs didn't really reach my clit.
Vibration Level: 4/5 I'm pretty happy with how high the speed can go. You can get a pretty good buzz at the highest setting, but it's not the strongest I've felt so far.
Noise Level: 2-3/5 Depending on which level you dial it to, it can be quiet or a bit noisy. I wouldn't dial it all the way up at night. I'm sure my hubby could hear the vibrations. Of course, I have ears like a hound dog, so things seem louder to me than to him.
Size: 4-1/2" x 1-3/8"
Summary: 4/5 Although I'm still trying to achieve that elusive g-spot O, I think I might get it if I play with this a little more. About 3 times already and I still haven't had one. Maybe I'm just ditzy. lol ^_^ I'm sure I'll figure it out. Anyway, this is definitely some good bang for your buck. It's not that expensive and I do like it. I only took a star away because I can't get the front nubs to reach my clit. Go check it out!

Alright, I was very excited about this product. I went through the ingredient list on the website and saw no mention of parabens at all. This was a great find for me since the tingling gel I had before (Good Head Gel Mint which has parabens in it >.<)
Unfortunately, I was wrong on both ends. There are parabens in Flower Balm, and in Rocket Balm. I figured that out after I got sick 10 minutes after using the balm and looked at the ingredient list on the tin. Also, not much tingle either. I felt a little bit, but the hubby felt nothing.
I contacted Babeland and they apologized, refunded my money promptly, give me a 10% discount code on future purchases, and said that they would have the web mistress fix the false advertisement in their listing for this product. I've been checking back, and I have yet to see them update the ingredient list (Feb 20th).
It is now Feb 23rd and I have recieved news from Babeland. They contacted me the same day (Feb 20th) and said:
"Thanks for contacting us again. I am so sorry that that has not been updated yet, we are taking care of it as I type. We have had some recent changes in staff and it seems that the person who was updating the information never did it and that is a terrible oversight. I am confused because we talked about it quite a bit after we received your original email and I thought for sure that it was done that day. We would like to offer you a free 2oz size of our new formula, paraben-free Babelube or another product to fix this mistake. Please let us know what we can do and let us know if you have any other questions."
I am very pleased with the result and am very happy to see that Babeland is so caring towards their customers. For the few months that I have been in their affiliate program, I have found Babeland to be an outstanding company with excellent customer care and concern. If you are in need of anything, I would go to them first.
Although Flower Balm does have parabens, please also note that Babeland has a wide variety of personal lubricants that are paraben-free. Click on any of the pictures below to see some of their paraben-free products.

Benefits - IE What do I get out of it?
Well, first of all, you get to dispose of your toys in a way that doesn't hurt the environment. You'll be reducing the amount of consumer waste in landfills and preventing toxic chemicals from leeching into our soil and drinking water. You don't really want to have sex toy chemicals in your tap water, do you? O.o Ewww.
So, I'm helping mother Earth. That's nice....but I still want to know what I get.
Don't worry. You get a prize. This company will actually send you a $10 gift certificate for Vibratorshopping.com and will give you free shipping on your next purchase. Pretty sweet deal, huh?
A gift certificate? Sign me up! How do I swap my trash for treasure?
Simple. Clean you toy with soap and water. (They sterilize them there, but if you worked there would you really want to be touching someone's dirty sex toy? No, I didn't think so.) Seal your toy/toys (you can send as many as you want) in a ziploc bag and then pack it for shipping.
Send it to:

Now, you could go for organic cotton tampons or reusable maxi pads, but I've really grown to like the DivaCup.
Alright, so what is this thing?
The DivaCup is a latex-free, BPA-free, plastic-free, non-absorbant silicone cup that simply collects your menstrual fluids. It is inserted into the vagina and sits at the base of the vaginal canal. No worries about it falling out. Your vaginal muscles will keep it in. You don't have to worry about leaks either. What happens is when you insert the cup, it creates a kind of seal. As long as you've inserted the cup properly (You won't feel it. If you do, you've go it in wrong.) there are no leaks to deal with. And you can wear this cup for up to 12 hours without having to worry about toxic shock syndrome. A menstrual product that I don't have to worry about changing every few hours? Finally! ^-^There are two different sizes to choose from depending on how old you are, if you've gone through child birth, or if you've had a c-section. Right now, I'm using the smaller one.
How do I get this thing in?
In order to get the cup in, you'll need to smoosh it flat and then fold it in half.
Hold the folded sides between your thumb and forefinger. The cup should make a C shape with the opening of the C facing your palm.
With your vaginal muscles relaxed (Make sure to be relaxed or it'll never go in! Trust me, I know.) seperate your labia and push the curved edge into your vagina. You might want to try to turn it to make sure it is completely open.If you're having trouble, try putting a little bit of water-based personal lubricant on it. I use Wet Beautifully Bare Naturals. Don't put to much on or it'll pop out of your hands. I've already had that happen. -.-; And if you're really having trouble getting it in, take some time to relax. Put a pad on or a tampon and just wait a while. Chances are you're getting tense because you can't get it in and you just need to relax. At first, it took me about half an hour of trying to get it in before I gave up. (I was about to pitch it at the wall and watch it bounce around the bathroom.) After I calmed down, I tried it again and it slid right in. You'll get used to it. Practice makes perfect.
It's pretty easy to get out. You just pull on the tip that stick out until you can reach the base of the cup, pinch the base to release the seal, and slide the cup out. If you can't feel the tip that sticks out, try to relax and see if you can get it. If not, try bearing down with your stomach muscles like when you're trying to have a bowel movement. That should help squeeze the cup down to where it should be. I've never had that happen before, but it's what the faqs on the site say.
How do I clean it?
It's pretty easy to clean. All you need is some hot water and the Diva Wash. It's paraben-free, sulfate-free, and free of petrochemicals, ph balanced just for us and 100% plant-based. It doubles as a shower gel, but I just use it to clean my cup since it cost me about $10. >.< No way I'm going to waste it. You just need a little bit. About the size of a pea will clean the cup just fine. I've used it to clean my toys a few times, too. ^_~ There are some itty bitty holes that go around the opening of the cup. These can be a little difficult to clean sometimes. Try running really hot water on both sides of the holes. You can also boil the cup. So...it lasts forever?Sorry, no. It doesn't last forever. The manufacturer sugguests that you replace the DivaCup yearly due to government regulations and the personal, hygenic nature of the product. You're still saving money, though! Think about how much you spend per month on pads or tampons (You can figure that out here). If it's over $35, it's not worth it to buy all that stuff when you can just get the cup.
Cons: A little difficult to get in at first, but you'll be fine with practice.
If you want to get one for yourself, try using the store locator on the DivaCup website. You can also buy it online if you don't have any luck finding a store near you that carries it. You can also click on any of the pictures to take you to the website.
