Review of the Blossom Sleeve
blossom sleeve
After so many toys for myself, I figured I should get something for my man to try out. Glad he wasn’t home when it came. The box has some busty whore on it.

(Actual hubby’s experience is towards the bottom. Pardon my rambling, but I like to give out as much info as I can! ^_^)

Alright, so the box says it’s phthalates-free. When I took the blossom sleeve out, it smelled strange and felt much like a jelly toy. It’s made out of tpr plastic called senso. I’ve tried tpr before, but not senso. I asked Babeland about it and they’ve assured me that they don’t sell any toys that have phthalates. They’re one of the very few companies that I know that actually looks out for their customers’ health.

Like always, I made sure to clean it after I got it out of the packaging. It still smelled strange after I washed it twice, but I guess that’s just how senso is. (At least it didn’t leave a funky smell on my finger like the jelly rubber triple stimulator did. Triple stim wasn’t phthalates-free! Still looking for a good phthalates-free cockring w/ dildo attached. Hubby loves double penetrating me. If anyone knows about one, leave a comment, please!)

While sliding my fingers in to wash the middle, I could feel all the ribbing on the inside along with some suction. The ribbing is thin and there’s lots of it. Just sliding my finger in and out felt good, so I was sure my hubby would love it. The blossom sleeve is very stretchy. I pulled it pretty far while I was messing with it. For some reason, I just get the urge to pull it as far as I can and watch it shoot across the room. lol I’m just weird like that. :P

blossom sleeve opening Another thing is you can sort of see through it. If your guy likes watching himself getting it on, this would be great for him. The blossom sleeve did seem a little small when I got it out (about 4” long when not stretched), but it worked out well. If it’s not long enough, you can just pull on it while using it. That’s what I did to make it long enough for my hubby in the shower (details further down the page). I’ve seen a lot of comments from guys that had trouble with it being short and the openings being so small since they’re so well-endowed. Well, baby, my hubby is pretty girthy and we had no problems. Lube it up! ~_^It has an opening on both ends and you can use it for oral (Or other things. Check out the video after the next paragraph! Great info from an actual Babeland employee!)

blossom sleeve second opening I got the blossom sleeve because of the video on the Babeland product page. When I looked it up on Babeland, I really found the video helpful. Give it a look. The guy even suggests two guys trying to use it at once. Wouldn’t they keep bumping heads of their members, though? O.o Like two rams butting heads. Maybe that’s a good thing. I dunno.

The main reason I wanted to try out the blossom sleeve is because my guy is long and thick and my mouth is tiny. Oral is a little hard for me, and the video suggested using the sleeve while sucking the head. The smell is a little off-putting, but I guess I’ll get used to it. Using the Babelicious lube helps. Makes it smell better, helps him glide in and out better, and it makes him into a tasty treat for me. ^_^It’s easier than just doing it by myself. Plus, he gets off quicker and that means less strain on my mouth. Those muscles get sore quick. >.< Our first experience with the blossom sleeve was in the shower, though. ~_^

(Another thing is that I was thinking about labiaplasty. My labia are longer than usual. I hate how they dangle, tight pants pinch them sometimes, and sometimes they get stuck during insertion. *sighs* –.-; Having the blossom sleeve would be good for him since I’d have to wait 6 weeks to have sex. 6 weeks… 6 long weeks… O.O; Ugh… I don’t even know if I could go that long. I couldn’t… I couldn’t go without sex that long, I’m terrified of surgery, and it’s way out of budget right now and we have no insurance (like that would even be covered :p).)

Experience in the shower: So, I decided to try the blossom sleeve on my hubby in the shower…in the dark. See, I wanted to keep him guessing. ~_^ Of course he asked me what it was. I refused to tell him and kept going. Not too long into it, he had to lean over on me to balance himself (Thank God he didn’t squish me! Of course, leaning against the back of the shower helped keep me standing under his weight). He told me after that it felt so good that his knees kept buckling. (This was just using the blossom sleeve; not even sucking him off at the other open end!) He looked it over curiously once we got out of the shower and I turned on the lights. Of course, I asked him how it felt. He said it was “interesting”, “different”, and “squishy” but all in a good way. He said he could feel all of the ribbing and he was really glad that I got the blossom sleeve. This was his first experience with a sleeve. I would say it was a pretty good one. ^_^ We’ve used it a few other times, like with the Babelicious lube. I’ll happily give him oral now. It’s much less of a strain on my tiny little mouth.
package
Packaging: Of course, since it’s a guy’s toy, it has some whore on it. Ugh. >.< The packaging went straight to the shredder.

Material: TPR plastic. I contacted Babeland because the blossom sleeve seemed so jelly-like to me and they reassured me that it is phthalates-free and that Babeland would never sell anything containing phthalates (Very good reason to shop at Babeland!) I also contacted the manufacturer, Cal Exotics. This is what they had to say:
We use our own material called Senso® for the manufacture of the product -- which is a TPR (Thermoplastic rubber, a polymer blend, is hypoallergenic, nontoxic and phthalate free) material.
Lube: Either water-based or silicone-based. (I prefer water-based. I used hathor aphrodesia when I used it on him in the shower.)

Cleaning: A bit difficult. If you sort of pull on the openings to stretch it out, it makes it easier to clean the inside. You can turn it inside out to clean it, too, but I was a little worried I might tear it with my long nails when I did that. Soap and warm water. And be careful. Aside from it being very slippery when cleaning, the senso material attracts pretty much anything like a magnet. Dust, hair, you name it. Since this is such a porous material, you can’t sterilize it.

Pros: great for oral if you have trouble deep-throating, it made him weak in the knees!, Babeland’s cute concept of “watering your flower” ^_^, stretchy and fun to play with like a giant rubber band (I’m so immature sometimes :p But, seriously, you have to have a little fun)
  • Hubby says: The ribbing feels great, loves how tight it is and the suction, oral is much better now, almost as good as being in me, very interesting (in a good way!)
Cons: smells funny, trashy package, kinda hard to clean, attracts dust and whatnot because it’s a little tacky, can’t sterilize it
  • Hubby says: No cons. He’s just happy my mouth can last through oral now. ^_^
Summary:Well, I had to take off because of the packaging. No matter how good a toy is, if it has raunchy packaging, that equals a point deduction. Other than that, there’s just the smell and the fact that it can’t be sterilized completely, but it’s not that big of a deal. You can always send in your toys for recycling (Look for the link at the top right sidebar). 4/5 for the blossom sleeve. We’re both really happy that I got it for him. ^_^
Ok, seriously. Do my reviews keep getting longer, or is it just me? O.o

Review of Sliquid Organics Stimulating O Gel
Sliquid Stimulating O Gel | Arousal Lubes | EdenFantasys.com

Recently, I’ve had the pleasure (and I do mean pleasure) of trying out a brand-new product at Edenfantasys called Sliquid Organics Stimulating O Gel. It’s a 1 fluid oz bottle with a push pump top. I really like the fact that the O gel is actually gel. It makes it a lot easier to apply than Wycked.

Here’s some things you should know about the O gel:

  • naturally derived
  • glycerine free
  • paraben/DEA free
  • 100% pure vegan

Of course, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Sliquid has been kind enough to make their O gel compatible with any toy and with any other Sliquid lube. I had a problem with Wycked leaving slick patches that looked like melted material on a TPR toy, so being able to use the O gel on anything without having to worry is a major plus!

Granted, it is a small bottle, but a little of the O gel goes a long way. Just pump out about a pea-size amount and you’re good to go. After rubbing it in a little, I could feel the cool tingle of the menthol and peppermint oil. It also has almost oil in it, so the O gel has a sweet mint scent to it. It’s “blended with organic botanicals that heal and support the body.” It’s also water-based.

Sliquid Stimulating O Gel | Arousal Lubes | EdenFantasys.comHere’s the ingredient list, if you want to take a look:

Aqua, Hydroxyethylcellulose (cotton), Aloe Barbadensis, Natural Tocopherols (vitamin E), Cyamopsis (guar gum), Peppermint Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Menthol, Citric Acid (citrus fruits) Includes Certified Organic Extracts of: Flax, Hibiscus, Green Tea & Sunflower extracts

The tingling lasted for a good five minutes, if not more. I could actually feel it on my labia, too! Very nice surprise. Definitely made my O better. And you know what? It even works on my hubby! Yes! Finally something that works on him to replace that blasted paraben-laced mint Good Head gel that gave me stomach problems!

Packaging: Very nice and fully recyclable. The bottle is dark to protect the ingredients from sunlight and preserve them longer. There’s a push pump top for dispensing and a little cap to keep everything sealed. Bottle actually says, “please recycle this packaging”. Also, this cute little quote:

Sliquid Lotus“Our lotus is the symbol of female sexuality, passion, and love. It is natural, growing, and unfolding…just like you!”

Pros: gel doesn’t run all over, works quick and lasts long, can feel it on my labia too, works with any toy or lube, water-based, vegan, paraben-free, glycerine-free, DEA-free, works on my hubby

Cons: Well, I’d like a bigger bottle. Even though a little goes a long way, I have a feeling I’ll be going through this rather quick. (Not really a con. Actually, the size is nice since you could easily fit it in your purse or travel bag.)

Summary: I love the O gel! Much better than Wycked in every way and the only paraben-free stimulating gel that’s worked on my hubby. Ladies, just because it says it’s for you doesn’t mean your man can’t enjoy it too! 5/5 Whenever I run out, I’ll be going back for more!

Review of the G-twist Vibrator
G-Twist
Upon becoming a brand ambassador for Good Vibes, I was sent the G-twist as my first review assignment. The G-twist is a GV exclusive, produced by Fun Factory for Good Vibrations. I have to admit that I was rather pleased to see that the G-twist would be coming my way. I’ve always admired Fun Factory, a German based company, for their style. Their work is beautiful, but I haven’t had much experience with them other than using the SmartBalls original (click name for product page or click here for review).

IMGP0846IMGP0848
First impression?

Well, a light blue and orange box. Seems somewhat retro to me for some reason, but it’s fun and tastefully done(Pardon the rhyming :p). Also, there’s a window in the back of the box so that you can see the G-twist in all it’s glory. I took pictures of mine in it’s packaging so that everyone could see how it looks.

There’s a nice panel that flips open to show you some info on why silicone has become a popular material for toys these days. That’s why the above right photo looks like it would open. And then there is another panel to show the G-twist. Here’s a pic of it all spread out.

IMGP0850
Good LubricationsWhat does it come with?

You wanna know what it comes with? Somebody’s greedy. Seriously, though ^_^ the G-twist comes with batteries (Yay!) and a small packet of GV’s Good Lubrications personal lubricant (which has parabens in it for anyone else who’s allergic or worried about health hazards). No, I can’t give you a review on the lube because #1 I’m allergic to parabens and #2 parabens have been linked to cancer. I tried searching the GV site, but it doesn’t look like this is sold. I think it just comes as a sample packet with some of the GV products. If you want a good lube, my favorite so far is Hathor Aphrodisia (click name for product page or click here for review)

Enough info! Are you gonna get down to the review or what?

Alright, alright. Here’s how it went down. After taking a bunch of pictures of the packaging to make you look at, I finally purged the G-twist from it’s paper and plastic prison and set to work testing it. I know some people have had trouble with the battery compartment. It’s really not that difficult. Fun Factory includes an instruction sheet with pictures so you know what you’re doing. There’s two spots on the light grey that you need to squeeze at the same time and then just pull the dark grey part off. It’s easy.

Now, the G-twist is supposed to have a strategically placed clit ridge. I had a little trouble with that. I had to angle it just right to get it to kiss my clit. The silicone part is quite flexible. The g-spot curve is perfect, but the ridges can be a little uncomfortable if you’re not lubed up enough. Make sure you’re good and wet before you give the G-twist a go. The ridges feel great externally too. The control is very easy and can be turned either way. I had a little problem accidentally switching the speeds, but my hand was a bit slippery from lube. The little raised splash or flower or whatever you want to call it, makes it easier to change the speeds. The speeds go from a gentle buzz to rock-your-world. If I switch it to the highest setting, it actually feels like there’s a vibe at my tush too. ^_^

You want to know what the funny this is? The G-twist felt better in me when my hubby was doing the work. It even seemed like it hit my g-spot better. I think maybe he was a little surprised when I pulled the G-twist out, though. He said it was really big. I hope it didn’t intimidate him or make him feel bad. I mean, he’s just as long and thicker than it. Hopefully it was just that he was surprised.

Packaging: No problems.

Material: silicone

Lubes: Either water-based or silicone-based. Fun Factory uses a formula for their high-quality silicone that allows customers to use either type of lube.

Care: The G-twist is splash-proof but not submergible. Clean it with soap and warm water and always make sure the battery compartment is on tight so no water gets in.

Pros: high-quality phthalates-free silicone, compatible with any lube, fun design (I really love the look of Fun Factory’s toy line), great g-spot stimulation, good size and heft, easy to clean, easy dial control, nice variety in vibrations

Cons: difficult to get clit ridge to meet my clit, battery compartment could be difficult for some

Vibration Level: like I said, from gentle buzz to rock-your-world

Noise Level: Depends on what setting you use. The lowest barely makes any noise at all, but the higher the setting, the higher the noise level. Common sense, really.

Summary: Overall, the G-twist was a great first assignment. It’s a GV best seller and I can see why. I don’t really have anything to complain about, so the G-twist gets a 5/5 in my book.

Clover Clamps Review

These were definately a surprise in every way for me. I really didn't know what I was getting in to. First of all, I really didn't think the clamps would be so big! They're almost the size of my hand! For some reason, I had thought they'd be around the size of a silver dollar or something like that. Second, OMG! They really really clamp down! I mean, I thought my hubby pinched me hard when I misbehave, but he's got nothing on the clover clamps!

When I got them out of the package, I thought it would be best to test them out on that little bit of webbing that you have between your thumb and pointer finger. I clamped one on. Didn't seem that bad. Pulled on it. It really took some effort just to see if I could yank it off. Then I decided to try them on my nipples. Whoa! O.O That'll wake you up in the morning! And the little bumps on the cushioning pads...you can really feel those. Like little teeth they are. >.<

For all of you out there who love pain, these are definately for you. Me? I got in over my head. Neck and shoulder biting is where I draw the line at pain, I think. I can deal with a little pinching, but I don't think I'll ever get used to the clover clamps. I'm too much of a wuss.

I really do wish I could deal with the pain. They do look nice, and I'm sure my hubby would think they're sexy. The clover clamps just aren't for me.

Packaging: A nipple with a clamp but it's not an actual picture and it doesn't bother me. Remember to recycle your packaging!

Rating: I don't really think it would be fair for me to give the clamps a rating since I'm too much of a sissy to try them out properly. They're made well and I've had no problems other than being a sissy.

Perky Panties Pheromone Detergent Review

Dangit! Another pheromone product that does squat for my hubby... It smells nice. I'm not sure what it is, but the scent is familiar. Freesia...sweetpea...bob's flower shoppe....maybe tulips? I'm not sure, but it's a nice scent and it's not overpowering.

I got out two nighties and a pair of panties to wash, filled the sink with cool water and squeezed the contents of the packet in. The suds were nice and it left my hands soft. After I gave everything a rinse, I them with a papertowel and let them air dry. Unfortunately, the scent only lasted a couple days. I could barely smell it this morning.

I do like perky panties, though. The name itself is really cute and fun. I had the packets sitting in my organizer by the bed and my hubby gave me one of his funny looks and asked me what it was. It's always fun to get his curiousity up since he always tries to bug me with my curiosity.

Anyway, here's the ingredients if you want to see what's in it:

Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate, Cocamide DEA, Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Benzophenone-4, Copulandrone, Copuline-alike, Reconstituted Andronone, Tetrasodium, EDTA, Triethanolamine, Methylisothiazolinone, Fragrance (Parfum), Red 33 (CI 17200)

I have no idea what most of it is. I should probably research it, I guess... Well, it smells nice and my skin didn't have any problems, so I'm not too worried.

Want some for yourself? Pick it up at Play Passions!

Review of the Corset Vibe now at Babeland!

I've had my corset vibe for about a month now. It was meant as payment for doing reviews for a separate company. Then I noticed that Babeland is now carrying the corset vibe!

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same corset vibe that I have. Mine was called the "Touche Girdle Vibrator", but I'm pretty sure the corset vibrator is the same thing. Afterall, it looks like it has the same cute little crown at the base. The crown is the logo of the manufacturing company Touche. I guess the little crown is there to make you feel like a princess while you use their products. I've taken a couple pictures from Touche so you can get the full view of everything.

Anyway, the corset vibe comes in a very nicely designed box with two user manuals just in case the four languages provided on the first manual aren't any that you know. The first one covers the basics: English, French, German, and Spanish. Batteries are included with the corset vibe and Touche offers a 1 year warranty. It's pure silicone and phthalates-free. The corset vibe is splashproof too! Although the manual states that it has a "quiet ultra sonic motor", I fail to see the quiet part. It has a pretty good buzz to it that could be heard outside the door in a quiet home. The little manual goes into detail about the warranty, silicones, phthalates, the motor, safety, and lots of other info. If you flip all the way to the back of the manual, you can see a chart of the 5 different vibration modes that it has. There are also some pictures of other products that they carry.

Down to how the corset vibe feels.

The corset vibe's front lacing doesn't do much for me on the inside, but it feels great on my clit and sliding over my labia. If the lacing is a little too intense rubbing against your clit, just turn the corset vibe over. The other side is completely smooth. The vibrations feel great, too. The first 3 go up in intensity and the last two have different pulsing patterns. Because of the ultra sonic motor, you can feel the vibes through the whole toy.

But the thing I really like about the corset vibe is how the head is a little bigger (and for some reason it reminds me of a tulip). The fact that the head is bigger may make it harder to get in for some (just lube it up!), but if feels great thrusting in and out! If I had to describe it, I would have to say that it feels just like the first time my man penetrates me. You know, that sort of jolt that goes through you on the first thrust. With the corset vibe, it's like having that first thrust over and over because your body keeps adjusting to the girth. Well, at least mine does. I'm still young enough to where my vagina snaps back like a rubberband. And the funny thing is, I can stand up with it still in me and it won't fall out.

I think the girth helps out a little with g-spot stimulation, too. Because the head is bigger, it's easier to tap the g-spot. The corset vibe has a little give towards the tip. You can gently bend it with your hands, but I couldn't manage to bend it while it was in me. The corset vibe has a nice weight to it. And you can take it in the shower because it's splash proof.

There's a cute little power button on the bottom that looks just like the power button for your computer. I'm not sure whether it's because my hubby is a IT consultant or not, but we got a kick out of the power button. You have to hold it for a couple seconds to turn it on/off and just push it to change vibration modes. Screwing the lid back on after putting the batteries in proved a bit tricky. You have to line it up just right.

Care: Don't use silicone lube. You'll melt your corset vibe. No putting it in the dishwasher either. It's not a vibe where you can take the silicone sleeve off the vibrator. Just wash it with warm water and soap. I have to complain a bit about cleaning the lacing. Make sure you get those really well. I always have to use a spare, clean toothbrush to clean the lacing on mine.

Packaging: No problems. I really like the packing design on the corset vibe. Very nice.

Pros: pure silicone, no phthalates, lacing feels great, good variety of vibrations, vibrations felt through entire toy, easy to use control button

Cons: lacing not easy to clean, not quiet like the little manual says, screw end can sometimes be a pain to get back on

Vibration Level: Very nice. Love the little chart in the back of the manual.

Noise Level: About the hum of a microwave. You can hear it over the tv.

Summary: I would have to give the corset vibe a 4/5. It's a nice vibrator and the lacing feels great, but it can also be a pain to clean. Also, if Touche wants to claim that this is a quiet vibrator, they should've made sure it really was. And I'll admit it, I have no patience. Trying to screw the end back on after putting in the batteries was starting to drive me nuts until I finally got it on.

Babeland Body Massage Cubes Review
Babeland has done it again! First off, I LOVED the Babeland Massage Bars (which I think have been discontinued because of the new massage cubes). Now, Babeland has come out with Massage Cubes! There's new scents along with some of the older scents too! This time, you can choose from: lavender vanilla, blackberry vanilla musk, orange blossom, and himalayan white tea.

Like always, I scrambled to open the box right after it was left at my door. I love getting stuff in the mail. ^-^ Anyway, I opened it up and found a pretty little box with a ribbon around it. The massage cubes would make excellent presents. You don't even have to wrap them! The ribbon has lots of metallic words scrolling across it like tease, tickle, kiss, etc... I thought it was cute, so I kept the ribbon. The silver box that the massage cube comes in almost reminds me of a jewelry box. After the box comes the foil. And after the foil comes the wax paper. I keep the wax paper on the massage cube and keep the cube in the box to keep it safe.

Experience: After I got all the wrapping off, I took a good whiff.

"Mmm..lavender vanilla..."
*Yawn*
"Dangit! Gets me every time..."

I'm really sensitive to lavender. I can't even think the word without yawning. Yes, I've been yawning during this review just typing "lavender". It smells wonderful, though. Great for a late-night relaxing massage. Perfect for a hubby with sleeping problems. And something I was thinking about; since the scent lasts so long, you could probably use the massage cubes (or massage bars) as solid perfumes!

Alright, so there's really not much difference between the massage bars and the massage cubes. Still, I really like the concept. Trying it out the first time, it reminded me of half a stick of butter for some reason... I get to butter my hubby up! lol That still gives me a giggle. Another thing is the immediate word association that happened when I saw the listing: massage cube..ice cube! That got me thinking. I wonder how it would be to put the massage cube in the freezer... Turns out it was a nice chilling, thrilling experience with a relaxing end. It didn't seem to take too long for the massage cube to start melting into my hubby's skin. He's pretty hot-blooded, though. Seems like he's always 10 degrees warmer than I am.

Just like the massage bars, a little goes a long way with the massage cubes. I usually just take mine out, run it over hubby's back a couple times and put it back in the box. It melts quickly and leaves a nice layer of massage oil behind. Just doing that much is enough for a good 20 minute massage. It leaves his back really soft, too. And even though I like to cuddle with him anyway, smelling like vanilla lavender just makes snuggle time even better.^_^

Pros: No parabens, smells great, a little goes a long way, great for dry skin, nice packaging, very affordable, could be used as a solid perfume, use on chapped wintery hands, use overall for soft skin, I could probably keep going for a paragraph or so. ^_^

Cons: None!

Summary: 5/5 Love, love, love the massage cubes! I don't get massages often myself, but it makes massaging hubby more fun. And it's really a treat when I do get a massage. Of all the products that Babeland has, the massage bars and cubes are my ultimate favorites. Like I said before, the massage cubes come in:lavender vanilla, blackberry vanilla musk, orange blossom, and himalayan white tea. Highly recommended!
