A Little Background Story:
Until recently, I’ve only had the pleasure of trying out Babeland’s Massage Bars and Cube (Huge fan of, by the way! ^-^). I had a Babeland gift card laying around without much money left on it and was searching for what I could get without having to break open my wallet. Luckily, it was around Valentine’s Day and Babeland was running some great promos. I found the Babeland Body Essentials kit and decided I would treat myself, my hubby, and my mom for Valentine’s Day all in one shot. (If you’re wondering how my mom fits in there, she got the massage bar for her dry hands. Wanted to do something nice for her since she’s always helping me and the hubby out. She’s a sweetheart! ^-^)
I got an Orange Blossom Babeland Body Massage Oil Spray in the kit that I ordered. The funny thing is, the Massage Oil Spray smells very similar to the Citron Fig Massage Candle I have. It’s not that I don’t like Citron Fig (I adore the scent on my hubby. His skin reacts to it and makes him smell woodsy *swoons*). It’s just that when the Massage Oil Spray says “Orange Blossom”, I expect the Orange Blossom scent to be much different from Citron Fig. I actually thought they had the same scent before I took the candle out and smelled it with the Massage Oil Spray. Yeah, there’s a difference. The Orange Blossom isn’t quite as citrusy as the Citron Fig is.
How Does it Measure Up to my Beloved Babeland Massage Bars/Cubes?
Well, the Massage Oil Spray is definitely convenient. 4 or 5 spritzes over my hubby’s back usually does the trick. The only thing is it’s not as slippery as the Massage Bars/Cubes. It’s not a matter of how much I spray on him. I could spray out the whole bottle and it still wouldn’t be as slick as the Massage Bars/Cubes make him. It must be the coco butter that really makes the bars/cubes slippery. At least I don’t really have anything to wrap up in foil and store, though. I can just replace the cap and put it back in my massage cubby.
Ingredients: Sweet almond oil, cyclomethicone, and fragrance
For those who are wondering, cyclomethicone is used as a base solvent to blend with fragrance oils and perfume oils. Cyclomethicone is a clear, odorless silicone. It leaves a silky-smooth feel when sprayed on the skin. Used for body sprays, lotions creams, bath salts, hair care, linen sprays etc. Cyclomethicone stays completely blended and crystal clear without shaking.
Pros: smells good, softens skin, convenient and easy to work with
Cons: not quite as silky smooth as the Massage Bars/Cubes, Orange Blossom smells very similar to Citron Fig (I love both scents! They’re just so similar, though.)
Summary: 4.5/5 The Massage Oil Spray is nice, but I’ve been spoiled by the smoothness of the Massage Bars/Cubes and the smell is similar to Citron Fig. Don’t get me wrong, I love the scent. It’s just that I was expecting something a little different, you know?

FTC Statement: The Babeland Body Massage Oil Spray was purchased with a Babeland Gift Card in a Babeland Body Essentials Kit and reviewed for Babeland’s Affiliate Review Program.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about a spray for my massage oil. I think I'll stick with creams. Great review.
If you're worried about it going everywhere, it really doesn't. Just keep it a few inches away from the body and spray. No worries. But yeah, I'll take my massage bars over it.
