Oh..my..God.. This stuff is insanely tasty! If you get any edible chocolate body paint, it should be the Babeland Edible Body Chocolate.  I’ve had my share of edible chocolate body paints, and this one takes the cake! No artificial flavorings, no gritty sugar crystals…  Nothing but pure chocolate with a hint of coconut. The Babeland Edible Body Chocolate is all natural and all yummy!

Hubby caught me cramming my finger in the jar this morning. I can’t help it! It’s as good as Nutella! And if you haven’t had Nutella, go out and get yourself a jar…now! (PS Nutella is a chocolate hazelnut spread that my German professor introduced me to. Very yummy.)

Yup, that’s my arm. I just had a tasty treat licking my arm clean after painting it for this photo.  Also, I’ve been smelling my arm since I started this review. I smell like chocolate coconut!

Taste

The taste of the Babeland Edible Body Chocolate is amazing! All of the other edible chocolate body products I’ve tried taste like cheap chocolate syrup, but the Babeland Edible Body Chocolate is just like having real chocolate! The ingredients are all natural and organic, which is what I think really makes the flavor real and wonderful.

I’ll probably have the rest of this jar eaten by the end of the review… Since I licked it off my arm earlier, I can’t stop. And hubby just caught me and chuckled at my low self-control. It’s mine! All mine! And I can eat it if I want to! Go back to your video game, darnit!

Even if I wasn’t going to use the Babeland Edible Body Chocolate to write with on hubby, I’d probably order it as a snack for myself. I’m a coconut nut and a chocolate fiend. The Babeland Edible Body Chocolate is SO perfect for me.

Ingredients

Sucrose (Organic Sugar), Theobroma cacao (Organic Cocoa), Cocos nucifera (Organic Coconut) Oil, Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla) Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamen E)

Consistency

It’s close the the consistency of warm frosting. It’s not runny, but it’s not too thick either. Actually, it’s fairly close to Nutella’s consistency. It’s the perfect consistency to write with (evidence above). The other chocolate body products I’ve tried have been too runny. If we had any of those cute mini cupcakes, I’d probably use the Babeland Edible Body Chocolate to frost them.

Residue/Cleanup

My arm isn’t sticky and there is no residue. As long as you lick everything up (which isn’t a problem for me), you’ll be fine. The only thing that is left is the sweet smell of chocolate and coconut. It almost reminds me of my Sweet Beauty Chocolate Body Cream (review) ; a wonderful chocolate lotion that contains the same organic Theobroma cacao.

There is no way I’d take a shower afterwards. I don’t care about the saliva, I smell like chocolate/coconut and I want to keep that scent as long as I can. *sniffs arm* Mmm… *bliss*

Rating: 5/5 The only thing I’d like is an expiration date, but I eat the 1oz jars (also comes in 4oz jars) up pretty quickly. The one I started on to do the arm art is now finished. I’ve licked the inside and there’s nothing left. You’ll have to get your own.
